Yea the season ended shitty. But you can't say players were lazy, that just ain't the case. It's a building process, you've got true freshman all over the place and a third D coordinator in the same number of seasons. The roster situation will improve, but having 80+ be freshman and sophomores on a 110+ man roster is just too much inexperience to expect the world. You'll see the defense improve in year 2, just as the offense improved from year 1 to year 2.
Don't get too impatient with RR, he's a good coach. And if given an opportunity, meaning you can't fire the guy after two or three years, then he'll show that he's a damn good coach.
